At the Karl Lagerfeld show we shifted gears with inspirations from architecture, Gucci online shop machinery & technology; models wearing large fur helmets, squared shoulders, short sleeved jackets, skinny black pants, with a color palette of black, onyx, with variations of grey in iron/silvery/stone deviations all in a structured/masculine look clothes, but this season's show, opinions were mixed. Some thought the grotesque 'recycle clown' look he created for the models accompanied by the junk yard set with dark-romance designs were discomforting, some were excited to see another creative couture level display. Noted were the intensely tailored Gucci shopping coats & pants suits, big shouldered silhouettes, slim black wrap-over dresses, some were ruffled while others had that shredded, warped look. Several dresses even gave of the impression as if they were made out of black garbage bags. Escher's artistic mind gave way to geometric prints along with some crazy hats (a few of them were empty soda cans wrapped around the models heads with tape…). The Vogue cover girl, who announced her separation from husband Hermes clearance Ashley less than a month ago, is still the face of L'Oreal and is said to be considering the other offers as her stock as a fashion player rises.

"Please note that further to false rumours from today's newspapers and online news sites, the house of Roberto Cavalli have never approached or offered Ms Cheryl Cole a fee to appear in any of its advertising campaigns," a Cavalli spokesperson confirmed this afternoon.

RUMOURS abounded this morning that Hermes clearance Cheryl Cole was at the centre of a bidding war between fashion houses including Roberto Cavalli to make her the face of their brands,but it seems Cavalli, at least, made no such approach.

The rumours suggested that two other major labels - including a high street giant - were also said to be in talks with the star. Roberto Cavalli was said to have offered the star £1.3 million to appear in his autumn/winter advertising campaign, previously fronted by Kate Moss, but the designer has refuted the claims via a spokesperson.
